Toxic Marriages Are More Painful For Kids Than Divorce

Sometimes parents stay together “for the sake of their children,” even though they are living in great turmoil.  An article discusses that staying in a toxic relationship is not always the better approach than getting a divorce.  By staying in an unhealthy relationship for the sake of the kids, there could be effects on the children.  For instance, some kids may experience the list below:

    1. Kids can grow up to model their parents,
    2.  Kids will never get used to it,
    3.  Kids will become more vulnerable to stress,
    4.  Kids will have a harder time building healthy relationships,
    5.  Kids will have a harder time expressing their emotions.
